1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the AICyberNav platform and related services (the "Service"). This policy is part of our Terms of Service and is designed to ensure that all users can benefit from a safe, reliable, and fair experience. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy in full.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use AICyberNav to:

  • Assess your own organization's security posture. Run AI-powered risk assessments, generate threat models, and evaluate the security readiness of organizations you own, operate, or are explicitly authorized to represent.
  • Evaluate your security posture. Input information about your technology stack, infrastructure, third-party vendors, and security practices to receive analysis, scoring, and actionable recommendations.
  • Generate reports for internal use. Create security assessment reports, incident response plans, architecture blueprints, and vendor evaluation documents for use within your organization.
  • Share assessment results with your team. Distribute generated reports and findings to your team members, advisors, auditors, board members, insurance providers, and other authorized stakeholders within or acting on behalf of your organization.

3. Prohibited Uses

You must NOT use AICyberNav to:

  • Attack or exploit others. Do not use our assessments, findings, or outputs to plan, facilitate, or execute cyberattacks against any system, network, or organization. Do not use assessment outputs to identify or exploit vulnerabilities in systems you do not own or have explicit written authorization to test.
  • Submit false information. Do not deliberately input false, fabricated, or misleading information to generate deceptive assessments. Do not represent AI-generated outputs as human-authored professional security audits or certifications.
  • Reverse-engineer AI models. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract the source code, algorithms, model weights, system prompts, or proprietary methodologies underlying the Service.
  • Automated scraping or abuse. Do not use bots, crawlers, scripts, or other automated tools to scrape, harvest, or systematically access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage patterns or is designed to overload, degrade, or disrupt our systems.
  • Resell assessment outputs. Do not resell, white-label, sublicense, or commercially redistribute assessments, reports, or other outputs generated by the Service without our prior written permission.
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes. Do not use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law, including but not limited to computer fraud statutes, data protection regulations, unauthorized access laws, and export control restrictions.

4. Rate Limits and Fair Use

To ensure quality and availability of the Service for all users, fair use principles apply to all accounts. We monitor usage patterns to maintain platform stability and prevent abuse.

  • Free tier assessments are limited to a reasonable number per organization within a rolling period. Specific limits are displayed within the Service.
  • Paid services are governed by the terms of the specific product purchased.
  • Excessive automated requests that significantly exceed normal usage patterns may be throttled, rate-limited, or temporarily suspended pending review.
  • Conversation sessions may have reasonable limits on message count or duration to ensure fair access for all users.

We will attempt to notify you before taking enforcement action related to rate limits, unless the activity poses an immediate risk to the Service or other users.

5. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in escalating enforcement actions, depending on the severity, intent, and frequency of the violation:

5.1 Warning

For first-time or unintentional minor violations, we will typically issue a written warning via email, describe the specific violation, and request that you cease the activity. You will be given a reasonable period to come into compliance.

5.2 Suspension

For repeated violations, deliberate misuse, or violations that cause harm to the Service or other users, we may temporarily suspend your access to the Service without prior notice. Suspension periods and conditions for reinstatement will be communicated to you in writing.

5.3 Termination of Access

For severe, persistent, or illegal violations, we may permanently terminate your account and revoke all access to the Service. Termination may include deletion of data associated with the violation, forfeiture of any unused paid services, and reporting to law enforcement where illegal activity is involved.

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a use violates this AUP and what enforcement action is appropriate.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, we encourage you to report it promptly so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Report violations to: abuse@aicybernav.ai

When reporting, please include:

  • A description of the suspected violation and which section of this policy it relates to.
  • Any relevant evidence, such as screenshots, URLs, or user identifiers.
  • Your contact information (optional, but helpful for follow-up questions).

All reports are reviewed by our team. We will not disclose the identity of the reporter to the reported party unless required by law.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or enforcement practices. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
